"Battle of the motors", 12+

Directed by Ilya Malanin. Starring: Ivan Yankovsky, Yura Borisov, Paulina Andreeva, Alexey Guskov

The sports drama about the birth of the automotive industry in tsarist Russia became the first collaboration for two bright stars of Russian cinema — Ivan Yankovsky and Yura Borisov. The painting takes the viewer back to the beginning of the 20th century. Andrey Nagel is passionate about the automotive business and is eager to prove to the world that our cars can compete with German Benz. He finds support within the walls of the Russian-Baltic Carriage Factory, where Dmitry Bondar, the hero of Yuri Borisov, works as an engineer. Together they begin the creation of the Russo-Balt car.

The script is based on real events, and Emperor Nicholas II, played by Sergei Volkov, even appears in the film. The audience will be immersed in the historical era and race to the retro auto. At the same time, most of the action scenes were filmed live, rather than completed in the graphics.

"Twilight. The saga. New Moon, 18+

Directed by Chris Weitz. Starring: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene

The second part of the Twilight saga will continue to re-release the franchise in Russian cinemas. As the story progresses, Bella Swan agonizes over the disappearance of Edward Cullen and grows closer to Jacob Black. It is in this picture that he undergoes a transformation for the first time and werewolves appear in the story of vampires. "New Moon" also introduces the viewer to the powerful Volturi clan, the unofficial royal family in the Twilight world.

"It's all her!", 18+

Directed by Dasha Charusha. Starring: Anastasia Belova, Marina Vasilyeva, Nikita Efremov, Nikolai Schreiber

The film was first presented in the summer of 2026 as part of the Window to Europe Film Festival. The name of the dramedy involuntarily refers to the famous American melodrama of the 1990s with Freddie Prinze Jr., however, there are no coincidences in the films. In this regard, Dasha Charusha's painting is much more inventive than the melodrama about school love. The main character, thirty-year-old Vasilisa, realizes that her life is going downhill. At this moment, an imaginary childhood friend, Malvina, comes to the rescue. A girl with purple hair and a peculiar sense of humor gives her friend the idea of finding her first love, Stas. Unlike Vasilisa, he achieved a lot after school. In the course of the story, the main character goes through a thorny path and finally takes responsibility for her own life.

"The lamb in the box", 18+

Directed by Hirokazu Koreda. Starring: Haruka Ayase, Daigo, Rimu Kuwaki, Nana Seino

A film parable about the ethical side of AI technology development is being released in Russia. The action of Hirokazu Koreda's fantasy drama, previously presented in competition at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, is developing in the near future. In the story, a married couple, having lost their seven—year-old son, takes on the upbringing of a humanoid robot, a replica of the deceased child. As a result, the couple will have to see for themselves that trying to rewrite the past sometimes costs too much.

"Everything will end", 18+

Directed by Alexander Ullom. Starring: Mitchell Cole, Akira Jackson, Noah Toth, Phineas Yun

At the center of the story are four college graduates who gather for the last time before leaving the educational institution. Once on the highway in the middle of the forest, they discover that the mobile connection is not working, it is impossible to get off the road, and the path seems endless. Soon the characters realize that they do not feel thirst, hunger and fatigue, gasoline reserves do not run out, but all this only adds stress. Unusual circumstances test not only nerves, but also friendship.

Philosophical horror explores the fear of the zoomer generation before growing up and at the same time does not seek to frighten with classic genre techniques. It's not the screamers that add to the anxiety, but the lively dialogues and the concept of being in a confined space.
