The Ministry of Finance named the number of cryptocurrency users in Of Russia
About 20 million people in Russia use cryptocurrencies. This was announced on September 21 by Ivan Chebeskov, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.
"According to expert estimates, there are about 20 million users of cryptocurrencies in Russia, and the total amount of investments of Russian citizens is 3.7 trillion rubles," he estimated in an interview with TASS.
According to Chebeskov, this amount takes into account both the direct ownership of digital currencies by citizens and part of the financial instruments, the value of which is linked to cryptocurrencies.
Research by FG "Finam" on September 19 found out that the vast majority of active crypto traders expressed their willingness to transfer their operations to the Russian circuit immediately after the necessary infrastructure appeared. Among potential users of Russian services, 48% plan to start with an amount of up to 100 thousand rubles, 28% are ready to invest from 100 to 300 thousand rubles.
