Scientists are closer to solving the mystery of Noah's Ark in Turkey

Scientists have received new data from the Noah's Ark search site in Turkey. Archaeologist Andrew Jones told Izvestia about this on September 7.

"We see a boat-shaped object from the ground, the origin of which has not yet been explained. We believe that these are the collapsed and buried remains of Noah's Ark," he said.

According to the researcher, the GPR scan of the object revealed right angles, open corridors and possible internal compartments, which excludes the version of a simple rocky ledge.

Jones noted that the alleged ark was first discovered back in 1959 by Turkish cartographer Ilhan Durupinar. Its location fully corresponds to the biblical description from the Book of Genesis. To test the theory, GPS mapping, soil sampling and dry drilling have already been carried out with the involvement of specialists from the USA, Australia, Brazil, Slovakia and Turkey.

The Milliyet newspaper reported on August 29 that anomalies were found at the Noah's Ark search site — many voids, angular structures and cavities with smooth edges. The first results showed that the carbon concentration inside the facility is 40% higher than outside, which may indicate the presence of organic matter or wood.
