The Russian Armed Forces struck the Novaya Pochta terminal in Kiev and the Zaporizhstal plant in Zaporizhia.

The Russian Armed Forces (AF) in Kiev carried out a group strike on the Sun Park warehouse center and the Novaya Pochta terminal, which were used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 11 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the agency, the office and warehouse complex "Sun Park" ("Kiev-3") is a major warehouse center of the Ukrainian capital. Its area is about 50 thousand square meters. m. The facility was used to store attack drones (UAVs), ground control stations and their components, the ministry said.

The Ministry of Defense indicated that up to 15,000 FPV drones were stored in the warehouse, including those equipped with thermal imaging cameras ("Beshket", "Spook", "Comic-A" and "Gorobets").

In addition, the Russian military attacked the Novaya Pochta terminal, which, according to the ministry, was used for storage and distribution of dual-use goods. Among them are components for the production of long— and medium-range UAVs, robotic complexes and electronic warfare systems.

In Zaporizhia, the Russian Armed Forces struck the Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant, part of the Metinvest group. According to the Ministry of Defense, the company was used to produce products used in the creation of protective structures, fortification modules, armor elements for military equipment and plates for body armor.

The Russian Defense Ministry added that protective screens were also installed on heavy armored vehicles on the territory of the plant to protect them from attacks by FPV drones.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian Armed Forces had attacked military industry facilities and transport and logistics centers in Kiev and Zaporizhia at night. The ministry clarified that the attack on the Ukrainian facilities was carried out using high-precision ground-based weapons.

In addition, during the reconnaissance activities, Russian military personnel identified temporary deployment points and a control point for drones of the Armed Forces units. The crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces launched air strikes against the detected targets using FAB-250 aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module, as well as an LMUR guided aviation missile.
