The Russian woman who disappeared in Belgrade may be in an abandoned warehouse

Lyudmila Turkova, a resident of St. Petersburg who disappeared in Serbia, may be in an abandoned warehouse next to the club she went to before disappearing. A source told Izvestia about this on July 31.

It is noted that the search for Lyudmila was suspended for unknown reasons. According to the interlocutor, they have been trying to find the girl for three days.

The source also shared that there was a tip from a witness — the allegedly disappeared woman may be in a warehouse near the place where she went to rest. The girl's friends climbed there and found that it was a completely abandoned building. The police, in turn, refuse to check it.

Lyudmila came to Serbia as a tourist, the source added. Two of the missing woman's friends, with whom she studied at school, live in Belgrade. However, they haven't seen each other this time and don't know anything about Lyudmila. The girl flew to Serbia and disappeared the very next day.

The Russian Embassy in Serbia reported the day before that the diplomatic mission had been informed about Turkova's disappearance in Belgrade. The embassy noted that they are in contact with the competent authorities of the republic and expect to take all necessary measures to establish the whereabouts of the Russian citizen.
