What to see

"Nepokoy", 18+

An author's psychological horror-thriller in an animated format, exploring themes of existential impasse and personal fears, does not often appear on the Russian screen. Director Leonid Shmelkov is a recognized master, winner of the prestigious Berlin Film Festival (Berlinale). The plot immerses viewers in the absurd and frightening atmosphere of a strange provincial hotel, in which two friends are stuck. The enclosed space, from which it is impossible to escape, refers to the aesthetics of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining and David Lynch's surrealism. For the first time in the history of our distribution, before a dark film, the audience will be shown a hilarious comedy warm—up - a special cinema series about the blue dog Andrey, which has become a super hit on the Internet.
