The fire that started after the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the enterprise in Kirov was extinguished.

A fire that started at one of Kirov's enterprises as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has been extinguished. This was announced by Governor Alexander Sokolov on July 24.

"By now, the fire has been extinguished. The consequences are being eliminated — the water supply and electricity supply have been restored," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Now, as the head of the region explained, there are rounds of nearby houses, according to the results of which the authorities will decide on assistance.

The fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the enterprise in Kirov became known on the same day. It was noted that as a result of the incident, six people were killed, and another 26 were injured. Of the injured, 12 were hospitalized, and the remaining 14 were treated on an outpatient basis.

On July 24, Dmitry Novikov, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, called the incident a manifestation of banditry by Kiev. He said that all those involved in this tragedy should be punished.
