Russia calls for the early achievement of sustainable agreements on ending the war in the Persian Gulf. This was announced on July 24 by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry following a meeting between the head of the department, Sergey Lavrov, and his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi.
"The Russian side emphasized the importance of reaching stable agreements on the cessation of hostilities as soon as possible in the interests of restoring stability, security and unhindered navigation in the region," the ministry said in a statement on its website.
