In Chernihiv region, more than 20 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) died after an outbreak of an unknown acute infectious disease. This was reported on July 24 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"On July 18, 26 soldiers died in the brigade's field hospital," RIA Novosti said in a statement.
The infection was detected in the 36th repair team. In addition, on July 23, Russian law enforcement agencies noted that the Ukrainian command continues to increase its grouping in the Chernihiv region, transferring additional units of the 17th border detachment to the region. We are talking about assault groups that previously participated in the battles in the Kursk area and suffered losses there.
On July 20, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that an attempt by a group of Ukrainian soldiers to surrender in the Sumy direction was thwarted by their own barrage squad, which used FPV drones against them.
