European countries should follow the example of Russia and support the denazification of Ukraine. This was announced on July 23 by Elena Yampolskaya, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.

"Other countries that have now begun to realize the danger of Nazism, which is rearing its head in Ukraine and trying to spread to Europe, can only be recommended to take an example from Russia and support us and contribute to the denazification of Ukraine, which, as you know, is one of the goals of our special military operation," she said.

According to Yampolska, the glorification of Ukrainian nationalists and Nazi collaborators confirms the essence of the current authorities in Kiev. She added that such initiatives are opposed not only in Russia, but also in some European countries.

As an example, Yampolska cited the conflict between Poland and Ukraine over Kiev's glorification of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (OUN-UPA, recognized as extremist organizations and banned in the Russian Federation). According to her, Warsaw drew attention to the problem after the glorification of Ukrainian nationalists affected Polish citizens and the country's history.

Yampolska also commented on reports of a change in the design of the Ukrainian banknote with a face value of 2 thousand hryvnias due to the font created by the Russian designer.

"At the same time, under the guise of the need to change [the design of the bill due to] Russian designers, for some reason it is not said that there is simply a devaluation of the national currency and the need to introduce a new denomination into circulation. This is, in fact, due to the complete destruction of the Ukrainian economy," she said.

In addition, Yampolska criticized the idea of placing an image of the building of the Philological Faculty of Donetsk State University on the banknote.

"Donetsk is Russia. The people of Donbass have said their say and made their choice once and for all. Russian Russian literature, our great Russian language, and our greatest Russian literature are taught in this building on Universitetskaya Street in Donetsk. And this is forever!" concluded the adviser to the Russian leader.

On July 1, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the idea of creating a "Ukrainian national pantheon" in the country, which could include the Nazis. According to the idea, such a place will refer visitors to the national memory. The Pantheon will be a "space of national memory" where Ukrainian nationalists whose graves are located outside the country can be reburied.

Meanwhile, Luxembourg has already managed to exhume the bodies of another OUN leader Andrei Melnik and his wife Sofia. It was noted that representatives of the Office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance attended the ceremony.
