In Armenia, Tsarukyan's company "Araratcement" was transferred to state administration

In Armenia, the company Araratcement, which belongs to the leader of the opposition Prosperous Armenia party Gagik Tsarukyan, has been taken over by the state. This was announced by the agency on July 16. News.am .

"As part of the proceedings on the confiscation of property of illegal origin, <...> the Araratcement company was transferred to the administration of the Republic of Armenia by the decision of the Anti—Corruption Court," the article says.

In addition, as part of the statement of claim, the authorities demand to confiscate 75 real estate objects and the market value of 10 units of property from Gagik Tsarukyan. There is also a demand for the confiscation of 42 vehicles.

All of Pashinyan's key opponents turned out to be involved in criminal cases.

Tsarukyan was detained by the Investigative Committee of the Republic on July 6. He is accused of organizing fraud and money laundering on an especially large scale. The defense called the charges absurd. Later, the court arrested Tsarukyan for two months.
