Degtyarev predicted accelerated recovery of Russian athletes against the background of the IOC decision

The decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will accelerate the process of reinstatement of all Russian athletes in the international arena. This opinion was expressed on June 7 by the Minister of Sports, the head of the Olympic Committee of the Russian Federation Mikhail Degtyarev.

"The IOC Executive Committee decided to reinstate the Russian Olympic Committee and reversed its decision with recommendations on the participation of Russian athletes in neutral status and a ban on team sports. All checks on the neutrality of Russian athletes have been canceled," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
