Yuzhuralzoloto was renamed BTS-Gold

The Public Joint Stock Company Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies (YUGK) has changed its name to the BTS-Gold Group of companies. This was announced on July 7 by the press service of BTS-Most Holding.

"On July 6, 2026, it was decided to change the name of PJSC Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies (YUGK) to BTS-Gold Group of Companies. Oleg Shiryaev has been appointed head of the group of companies," TASS reports.

Personnel and structural changes followed the change of the company's owner.

The auction for the sale of a controlling stake in YUGK assets was recognized as successful on June 19, and BTS — Most Holding became the winner. According to the notice, the company acquired the assets of YUGK for 93.161 billion rubles. Before that, several attempts at an auction to sell a controlling stake failed.
