The American media has put forward a new version of Michael Jackson's death
Singer Michael Jackson could have independently increased the dose of the drug propofol, which could have been one of the causes of his death. A new version of the circumstances of the artist's death on July 3 was presented by Radar Online with reference to its own investigation.
"Desperate to ease his pain and suffering, drug addict Michael Jackson secretly increased the dose of the drug propofol — and grave himself early, leaving his private doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, to bear responsibility for what happened," the article says.
It is noted that the artist, experiencing strong physical and emotional stress against the background of preparations for the This Is It concert tour and debt obligations, could secretly change the dosage of the intravenous drug. According to the newspaper, other potent substances were also found in Jackson's body at the time of his death, including lorazepam, midazolam, diazepam, lidocaine and ephedrine.
"Cardiologist Dr. Alon Steinberg testified that a private doctor was negligent by leaving vials of propofol and lorazepam lying nearby. <...> One of the first detectives who arrived at the scene said he saw vials of medicines scattered everywhere," the newspaper added.
The publication cites the opinions of experts who note that the combination of such drugs could have critical consequences for the body. At the same time, the official responsibility for the singer's death was previously assigned to Murray, who was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to prison.
The Financial Times reported on November 1, 2025, that Jackson's heirs had paid $2.5 million at the beginning of the year to five accusers who claimed that the late singer sexually abused them. The accusers have been identified as members of the Cassio family, longtime friends of Jackson.
