Putin congratulates Rossiya 24 TV channel on its anniversary

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Rossiya 24 TV channel on its 20th anniversary. The corresponding greeting was posted on the Kremlin's website on July 1.

"Over the past years, your TV channel has firmly established itself among the leading domestic media <...> and has become an authoritative source of information about key events in our country and the world," the telegram says.

The Russian leader noted that the TV channel is steadily developing, mastering new broadcasting formats and maintaining high-quality work on the air. The President also expressed confidence that the staff of the TV channel will continue to successfully fulfill its tasks, develop Russian television journalism and preserve its best traditions.
