Since the beginning of the fire at the Slavyansk Oil Refinery, its area has been reduced by four times. This was announced on June 29 by the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory.
"The fire area at the Slavyansk Oil Refinery has decreased fourfold since the start of the fire," the Telegram channel said.
219 people and 69 pieces of equipment are working at the site, including those from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The day before, on the night of June 28, after an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a fire broke out at an oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban. After the incident, specialists continue to monitor the state of atmospheric air in the area. It was later clarified that firefighters were able to halve the area of the fire that occurred on the territory of the refinery. Later it became known that after the fire in the air, an excess of the permissible level of soot in the air was recorded.
