- France noted the deterioration of the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Konstantinovka
The situation of Ukrainian units in Konstantinovka, Donetsk People's Republic, continues to deteriorate. This was reported on June 25 by the French newspaper Le Monde.
"One thing seems clear: the situation of the Ukrainian troops continues to deteriorate," the article says.
Ukrainian analysts of the DeepState project, according to the publication, assessed what is happening at the front as the "worst-case scenario" for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). They stressed that Konstantinovka is the "gateway" to the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration. The cities are separated only by Druzhkovka, which plays a vital logistical role for the Ukrainian army.
According to experts, after the liberation of Konstantinovka, the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be seriously disrupted. This will create critical difficulties for maneuvers, and the presence of Ukrainian formations in Kramatorsk will become extremely dangerous. Lieutenant Colonel of the Ukrainian army Mikhail, with the call sign Adam, also acknowledged the presence of serious problems in the troops.
"It's probably fatigue for everyone, especially for the infantrymen," he said.
On this day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that in Konstantinovka, the Russian Army had liberated 763 buildings from Ukrainian soldiers in a week. It was noted that more than 560 enemy fighters, more than 130 units of various weapons and military equipment were destroyed in this area.
The deputy commander of the 10th Guards Tank Regiment of the Southern Group of Forces with the call sign Opera, in turn, said that in Konstantinovka, Russian soldiers captured and led 10 enemy soldiers out of the city. The military clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were trying to eliminate civilians whom the detachment planned to evacuate.
