A fire broke out in an apartment building in the Belgorod region due to a UAV attack.

The fire started on the balcony of an apartment building as a result of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Yakovlevsky district of the Belgorod region. This was announced by the regional operations center on June 21.

"In the city of Stroitelei, an APU drone attacked an apartment building. <...> As a result of the detonation, a balcony caught fire in one apartment," the agency said in a publication on the Maks messenger.

It is specified that firefighters promptly eliminated the fire. As a result of the incident, no one was injured. Damage to the facade and the house glazing was recorded.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used the tactics of "overloading" the Russian air defense and pursued primarily media goals, experts believe.

On June 20, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported that the wreckage of a Ukrainian drone fell into the courtyard of a private household in the city of Krymsk, as a result of which an outbuilding caught fire. It was clarified that no one was injured in the incident. The fire was quickly extinguished.
