An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 has been registered in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Kamchatka. This was announced on June 11 in the main directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Kamchatka Territory.

"The magnitude of the seismic event was 6.0. In the specified locality, the tremors could be felt by residents with a force of up to three points," the Maks messenger says.

It is specified that the seismic event occurred at a depth of 29 km. The epicenter was located in the Pacific Ocean, 42 km southwest of the village of Nikolsky, Aleutian Municipal District. There were no casualties or damage as a result of the earthquake. No tsunami threat has been announced.

An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 was recorded on June 10, 33 km from the coast of Primorsky Krai. The tremors were recorded at 20:34 local time (13:34 Moscow time). The seismic event was located at a depth of 343 km.
