Due to the temporary suspension of airports in the South of Russia, Aeroflot has had to adjust its schedule. Some of the flights were delayed in departure time, and some were canceled altogether. This was announced on May 8 by the airline's press service.

"Due to the temporary suspension of operations at airports in Southern Russia, Aeroflot is forced to adjust the schedule by postponing departure times, as well as canceling some flights," the Aeroflot channel said in the Maks messenger.

In addition, a number of aircraft were redirected to alternate airfields. Aeroflot clarified that flights to international destinations from airports in other regions of Russia are continuing, but an increase in the duration of individual flights is possible.

Passengers were asked to check the flight status on the online scoreboard and in the "Booking Management" section on the company's official website before leaving for the airport. In case of flight cancellation, travelers were advised not to come to the airport.

The airline also advised customers to read the detailed instructions on how to reissue and refund tickets on the website. Production and customer services, including the contact center, have been switched to an enhanced mode of operation.

Aeroflot assured that during the waiting period for departure, passengers are provided with service in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations of the Russian Federation. The company will continue to inform travelers about changes in the flight program.
