The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation is coordinating with law enforcement agencies and special services the possibility of opening a "white list" of sites that will remain accessible during the period of mobile Internet restrictions in Moscow. This was reported on May 5 in the press service of the department.

"The possibility of promptly opening a "white list" of sites in Moscow for access to socially significant Internet resources during the period of the shutdown of the mobile Internet for security reasons is being agreed upon," RIA Novosti quotes the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

It is noted that the agency will be notified immediately after receiving the necessary permits.

Earlier in the day, problems with the mobile Internet were reported in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Subscribers reported a lack of mobile communications and problems with access to services.

Prior to this, it was warned that in St. Petersburg, from May 5 to May 9, there may be problems with the operation of the mobile Internet and banking applications in connection with the preparation of events for Victory Day.

On the eve of May 4, major mobile operators reported similar failures during the same period in Moscow. It is noted that Russians are advised to use the Internet at home, as well as regular calls that will work normally.
