In Crimea, a child was injured in an explosion of ammunition found on the street
In the Sovetsky district of Crimea, a 12-year-old boy was injured after an object he found exploded on the street. This was reported on May 4 by the Investigative Committee for Crimea and Sevastopol.
"Yesterday afternoon, a schoolboy and a friend were walking near an abandoned building, where they found an explosive object. After the boy picked it up, a detonation occurred," the UK said in a Telegram channel message.
It is noted that the child was hospitalized with an arm injury in a medical facility, where he receives the necessary assistance.
A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of serious harm to health against a minor using an object used as a weapon") and Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation of ammunition").
Earlier, on April 29, it was reported that a teenager was injured in an explosion of a device disguised as a bundle of money. The press service of the Ministry of Territorial Security of the region reported that the child received minor burns. A criminal case was opened into the incident in accordance with Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism"). Then they added that during the detonation, a certain coloring substance got into the child's eyes.
