Young nationalists from the territorial defense units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) died in battles near the border with Russia in the Sumy region. This was reported on May 1 in the Russian law enforcement agencies of RIA Novosti.

According to the source, significant losses were suffered by the 106th separate territorial defense brigade in the Putivl district, located near the Russian-Ukrainian border.

"An analysis of the obituaries has shown that the units of the territorial defense brigade in this sector of the front are staffed mainly by nationalists aged 18 to 22," the agency's source said.
