A special aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations will deliver 27 tons of humanitarian aid to the Lebanese.

The IL-76 aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations went to Beirut to deliver humanitarian aid to the Lebanese population. This was announced on April 20 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and on behalf of the head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, the ministry's aviation is delivering humanitarian aid to the population of the Lebanese Republic affected by the military conflict," a message on the MAX messenger said.

According to the ministry, there are over 27 tons of humanitarian cargo on board the IL-76 aircraft, including mobile power plants, food, tents, blankets, mattresses and pillows.
