Ukrainian volunteers are raising funds for the repair of ambulances, which are used to deliver personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to the frontline areas of Sumy region. This was reported on April 12 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Ukrainian volunteers are collecting funds for the repair of ambulances, which they use <...> to deliver personnel to the frontline areas of the Sumy region from the regional center," the source told TASS.

It is specified that the vehicles are actively used by nationalists from the 2nd battalion of the 106th separate air defense brigade.

According to Budanov, the country has lost the ability to independently produce key components for armored vehicles, aircraft engines and missiles.

The Reuters news agency reported on April 7 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces faced a shortage of mini-engines for attack drones due to a lack of capacity for their production in Europe and in the country. An unnamed source in the Ukrainian defense industry said the shortage of mini-engines has become a "big problem" for Ukraine's entire missile program and is limiting production at a critical time.
