Larionov confirmed the possibility to remain the head coach of SKA in the 2026/27 season

Igor Larionov, the head coach of the SKA hockey club, announced on April 10 that he would continue working with the team next season.

"Yes, of course, I'm staying in SKA. For the next season," Larionov said.

The 65-year-old specialist has been heading SKA since the summer of 2025. Under his leadership, the hockey club took fifth place in the Western Conference of the Fonbet KHL championship – 2025/2026, and in the first round of the Gagarin Cup lost to CSKA with a score of 2:4 in the series, Sport-Express clarifies.
