Russians were warned about fines for throwing construction debris into containers
For throwing construction debris into ordinary containers, citizens face a fine of up to 3 thousand rubles, for legal entities — up to 250 thousand rubles. This was announced on March 29 by Vladimir Koshelev, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services.
"If residents or construction contractors leave construction debris in or near an ordinary container, it will be considered a violation of waste management rules, for which a fine is threatened: for citizens from 2 thousand to 3 thousand rubles, and for legal entities, for example, a criminal code or a contractor company — from 100 thousand to 250 thousand. rubles," he said in an interview with TASS.
The deputy explained that from September 1, 2025, stricter rules for the treatment of municipal solid waste apply in Russia. In particular, it is forbidden to leave bulky items such as window frames, furniture and household appliances in or near ordinary containers.
