American figure skater Ilya Malinin became the best in the short program at the World Championships in Prague on March 26. He got 111.29 points for the rental, which is the best result of the season.

The second place was taken by Frenchman Adam Xiao Him Fa (101.85), the third — by Estonian Alexander Selevko (96.49). The athletes will present the free program on March 28.

21-year—old Malinin is an Olympic champion in the team tournament, a two-time world champion (2024, 2025) and a bronze medalist at the 2023 World Championships.
