Spartak beat Orenburg 2-0 in the RPL match

Spartak Moscow Football Club (FC) beat Orenburg on the road in the match of the 22nd round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The match took place on March 22 and ended with a score of 2:0.

The goals were scored by striker Levi Garcia (17th minute) and midfielder Ruslan Litvinov (25th minute). In addition, 16-year-old Spartak midfielder Pavel Polekh entered the field in the 88th minute — it was his debut in adult football.

Spartak defeated Orenburg away for the first time since 2020. Before that, the Muscovites could not beat the Orenburg four matches in a row.: three ended in defeat, one in a draw.

After the victory, the Moscow club scored 38 points and placed in sixth place in the RPL standings. Orenburg remained on the penultimate, 15th line with 18 points.

In the next round, Orenburg will play away against Dynamo Moscow on April 4. Spartak will play against Lokomotiv on April 5 on their home field.
