A festive prayer in honor of the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan on Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Fitr (the "Feast of Thanksgiving") on Friday, March 20, began at the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.

Thousands of believers gathered to offer their prayers together on the occasion of the end of the fast, which lasted for almost a whole month — from February 18 to March 19.
