The body of a dismembered woman was found in two suitcases in Krasnogorsk.
A criminal case has been opened in Krasnogorsk over the murder of a 35-year-old local woman after the discovery of fragments of her body. This was reported to Izvestia on March 18 by the Main Investigation Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the Moscow Region.
According to the investigation, on March 18, two suitcases were found near the apartment building, inside of which were body parts of the deceased. A criminal case was opened in connection with the incident under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").
During the operational search measures, it was established that the suitcases were taken out of the apartment by the woman's roommate. He subsequently committed suicide.
Currently, investigators and criminologists are continuing to work at the scene. In addition, an inspection is carried out, necessary examinations are appointed, and interrogations are conducted. Law enforcement agencies are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
On February 27, a source from Izvestia reported the discovery of a married couple with signs of violent death in Prokopyevsk. A criminal case was opened into the incident under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It was noted that the body of a 56-year—old woman with stab wounds and her 60-year-old husband, shot dead, were found in the apartment.
