Sri Lanka has asked Russia to ensure energy supplies

The Sri Lankan authorities have asked Russia to consider the possibility of supplying energy resources to the republic. This was announced on March 13 by Mikhail Rogov, the press secretary of the Russian diplomatic mission in Colombo.

Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Levan Dzhagaryan was invited to a meeting with the country's Foreign Minister, Vijita Heratu, Rogov said in an interview with TASS.
