Dmitry Zakharov, illustrator of Evening Moscow, has died.

Dmitry Zakharov, an illustrator for the newspaper Vechernyaya Moskva and the Russian Newsweek magazine, has died at the age of 63. This was reported on March 3 in his entourage.

"Dmitry Zakharov <...> died on Sunday evening," RIA Novosti reports the text of the statement.

It is added that the cause of the artist's death was cancer.

Zakharov worked for more than 10 years in the infographics department of Evening Moscow. Prior to that, he worked in the art department of the Russian Newsweek magazine.
