The SC warned of a harsh response for France and Britain in the framework of the nuclear doctrine of the Russian Federation

Russia's nuclear doctrine provides for a tough response to possible plans by Britain and France to deploy nuclear weapons in Ukraine. This was announced on February 25 by the Strategic Culture (SC) portal.

"The possibility of weapons of mass destruction appearing in Ukraine is considered a red line for Russia. This will allow Moscow to take any steps it deems necessary to prevent such a maneuver," the publication says.

According to the publication, Russia's updated nuclear doctrine gives the right to retaliate not only in the event of a direct strike from the nuclear powers, but also in the case of their joint actions with intermediaries.
