The alleged murderer of the former adviser to the ex-president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, lawyer Andrei Portnov, who was shot dead in Spain, has been detained in Germany. This was reported by the Spanish police on February 25.

"Yes, a suspect [in Portnov's murder] was detained in Germany," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.
