A sapper robot checks a traffic police official car parked next to the car that was damaged in the explosion. This was reported on February 24 by Izvestia correspondent Elena Khmura.

By the nature of the damage to the patrol car, it can be assumed that the epicenter of the explosion was on the driver's side. The windows in the vehicle were broken, the roof was deformed, and the airbags went off.

A source told Izvestia that the deceased senior police lieutenant was survived by his wife and two minor children. Information about the condition of the victims is also being clarified. One police lieutenant suffered a brain injury, the second suffered a facial burn and a concussion. Both employees were hospitalized.

The press service of the Russian Interior Ministry reported that an explosion occurred in a traffic police car in the northeast of Moscow on February 24, according to preliminary information, one person was killed and another injured. Later, the death toll increased to two. Two people were also injured .

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation clarified that the car that blew up the traffic police in Moscow had previously died at the scene. It was reported that the investigative task force is conducting an inspection of the scene and analyzing video materials.
