Security will be tightened at the points of the unified State Exam (USE) after a series of attacks on educational institutions in recent months. This was announced on February 18 by the head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev, during a press conference dedicated to the launch of the Unified State Exam campaign in 2026.

"Indeed, there has been a surge in school shooters in recent months, and this, of course, obliges us all to check how the system works once again. Of course, we will need to put more emphasis [on security]," he said, the broadcast of the press conference was published on the agency's page on the VKontakte social network.

Muzaev recalled that the Rosgvardiya field patrol is always located near the examination points. According to him, the day before the exam, all the test sites will be checked, including with the participation of dog handlers, in order to fully ensure safety for schoolchildren.
