- More than 2,4 thousand foreigners signed up for the Unified State Exam in 2026 from abroad
More than 2.4 thousand foreign students have applied for the Unified State Exam (USE) in 2026 from abroad. This was announced on February 18 by the head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev.
"In addition, the exam will be held in our foreign educational institutions. To date, we have over 2.4 thousand applicants who want to take the unified state exam," he said during a press conference dedicated to the launch of the USE campaign in 2026.
Moreover, he noted that there would be no drastic changes in the conduct of the Unified State Exam in 2026 compared to the previous one.
"We do not expect any major changes in the procedure in 2026. That is, compared to last year, we have no serious fundamental changes," Muzaev said.
However, he noted that this year's exams begin on June 1.
On January 14, the press service of the Ministry of Science of the Russian Federation announced changes to the university admission rules for 2026. It was noted that the procedure for submitting documents, enrolling college graduates and the conditions for targeted admission have changed.
For example, starting this year, applicants will have three ways to submit documents: through the Gosuslugi portal, in person at the university or by mail, but submission through universities' own systems will no longer be possible.
