French President Emmanuel Macron found himself in the spotlight after an awkward episode upon arrival in India, when he left his wife alone in front of reporters for a few seconds. This was announced on February 17 by the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot, on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The incident occurred when the French delegation got off the plane at the Indian airport. After opening the doors of the liner, Macron appeared on the ramp, but then abruptly returned to the cabin, leaving Brigitte Macron standing alone at the exit. After some time, the president came out again and, together with his wife, began the descent.

Filippo accompanied the publication with a video and wondered about the reasons for the incident.

"What's in there (on the plane. — Ed.) did it happen?!" the politician wrote.
