In Sergiev Posad, a young man started shooting from a house window and wounded a passerby. This was announced on January 6 by Tatyana Petrova, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Moscow Central Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

According to her, an unknown person shot a local resident from the window of an apartment building on Novouglichskoye highway. The injured victim independently sought medical help and reported to the police. Law enforcement officers quickly figured out the apartment from where the shooting was conducted, and the identity of the suspect. It turned out to be a 19-year-old resident of the city.

Petrova clarified that during the search, an object similar to an air gun was found and seized from the young man.

"An investigator from the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has opened a criminal case on this fact under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," she said in the Telegram channel of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow Region.

On January 16, eyewitnesses told Izvestia that in Moscow, near the Taganskaya metro station, a young man fired a traumatic pistol at three interlocutors. The police are investigating the incident. Immediately after the shots were fired, the men attacked the shooter and severely beat him.
