The mayor's office has recovered 335 million rubles from those responsible for the gas explosion in a house in Novosibirsk

The Omsk District Court granted the claim of the Novosibirsk City Hall and the Novosibirsk Regional Prosecutor's Office to recover more than 335 million rubles from Evgeny Kavun and Irina Urbach. This was reported in the court's press service.

The lawsuit was filed in the interests of the municipality on December 17 last year. The statement stated that the Novosibirsk City Hall had paid compensation and social benefits to the residents of the house at 39 Linnaya Street. The court accepted the civil case for trial and on January 30 fully satisfied the stated requirements.

"The Omsk District Court of the Omsk region has accepted a civil case for the claim of the prosecutor of the Novosibirsk region in the interests of the municipality of Novosibirsk — Novosibirsk City Hall to Urbakh I.A., Kavun E.V. for compensation for damage caused by a crime in the amount of more than 335 million rubles," the court reports RBC Novossibirsk.
