Russian will be one of the eight working languages at the upcoming Olympic Games in Italy. This was reported on February 3 by TASS with reference to relevant documents.

In addition to Russian, the list of working languages also includes Italian, French, German, English, Japanese, Korean, as well as Chinese, in particular, the Mandarin dialect.

It is specified that media outlets that have received accreditation will be able to receive simultaneous translation of events through a special application in any of these languages.

The documents also say that simultaneous interpretation in Russian, German, French, Japanese, Chinese and Korean will be provided for press conferences in the main halls. The Olympic Games will be held from 6 to 22 February in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
