Near Kirov, 20 trains are delayed due to derailment

In the Kirov region, 20 passenger trains are delayed due to the derailment of freight train cars. This was announced on February 2 by the Federal Passenger Company (FPC) of Russian Railways.

"About the movement of trains delayed in connection with the derailment of freight train cars in the Kirov region. Currently, 20 long—distance trains are delayed en route," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that nine trains follow the changed routes. Among them are long–distance trains such as Vladivostok – Moscow, Severobaikalsk – Moscow, Novy Urengoy - Moscow and others. Backup trains have been assigned to minimize passenger inconvenience.

The company assured that the railway workers are doing everything possible to restore normal traffic as soon as possible.

The derailment of 21 freight train cars on February 1 disrupted traffic on the Gorky Railway in the Kirov region. There are no casualties. It was noted that the operational headquarters of the Gorky Railway operates to coordinate work to eliminate the consequences of the derailment.
