- In Israel, Navrotsky was accused of insulting the memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
Statements by Polish President Karol Nawrocki about the role of the Soviet Union in the events of World War II offend the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and the soldiers of the Red Army who liberated Nazi concentration camps. This was announced on February 2 by the leader of the Israeli anti-fascist movement Dmitry Trapirov.
"We reject with strong indignation attempts to shift responsibility for the Holocaust from the Nazi executioners to those who stopped fascism at the cost of millions of lives. Navrotsky's statements are a dangerous act of historical and political revisionism," he stressed in an interview with RIA Novosti.
