An epidemiological investigation is underway in the Moscow Region in connection with the hospitalization of a person with suspected monkeypox. This was reported on February 1 in the regional Rospotrebnadzor.

"During the epidemiological investigation, work is underway to identify contact persons and conduct an examination. The biomaterial was collected for research. An order has been issued for disinfection," the message says.
