The WSJ has learned about the Pentagon and White House's plan to attack Iran
The Pentagon and the White House have developed joint plans for a military attack against Iran. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal newspaper, citing informed sources.
"They provided information about possible attack options (against Iran — Ed.) developed jointly by the White House and the Pentagon," the article says.
The newspaper notes that among the submitted plans is the so-called "big plan", which includes attacks on government institutions and facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as part of a large-scale bombing operation. More limited options involve strikes against symbolic targets of the authorities, which leaves the possibility for increased attacks if Iran withdraws from the agreement.
