Israeli actress Tal Berkovich died in a car accident.

Israeli actress, screenwriter and model Tal Berkovich died in an accident on January 30 at the age of 41. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post newspaper.

On the day of the tragedy, Berkovich and her 40-year-old brother were on their way to celebrate their mother's birthday when their car collided with a truck. Tal died from a head-on impact at the scene. The actress' brother was hospitalized with serious injuries, his condition is assessed as critical. The truck driver suffered only minor injuries.
