UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, in a letter to the member states, said that the organization would not be able to implement the budget program for 2026 without improving the financial situation. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on January 30.
"The reality is this: if revenues do not significantly improve, we will not be able to fully implement the budget program for 2026, approved in December," the agency cites the text of the letter.
