Rendez-Vous boutique in Courchevel suspended after hotel fire

The Rendez-Vous boutique in Courchevel temporarily suspended its work after a fire occurred on January 27 at the Grandes Alpes Hotel nearby. This was announced on January 28 by the company's press service.

"The store's operation has been temporarily suspended until official conclusions from the police and special services are received, as well as an assessment of the condition of the premises," the company said in an interview with Forbes.

It is specified that the boutique's premises and employees were not injured. According to preliminary data, the fire was located in one of the hotel rooms. Emergency services have localized the fire, the situation is currently under control.

The fire in Grandes Alpes became known on January 27. It was clarified that 83 people were evacuated from a five-star hotel in the Courchevel ski resort in France as a result of a fire. The fire spread across the roof, and about 60 specialists were involved in extinguishing it.
