President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko handed over to the national team that won the fourth stage of the Commonwealth Cup the so-called "doping" in the form of lard, bread and drinks. This was announced on January 28 by the Telegram channel Pool One, which is close to the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Fat! Bread! Presidential drinks! "Doping" from the "First" to our champion biathletes," the message says.
It is specified that special treats from Lukashenka were given to athletes by his press secretary Natalia Eismont. According to her, the Belarusian leader believes that in the world of sports doping can exist "only in the form of bacon, bread and drinks."
In response, the biathletes thanked Lukashenko for his attention to sports and the support he provides to biathlon in the republic.
The first national team of Belarus, which included Dinara Smolskaya, Anna Sola, Stepan Danilov and Anton Smolsky, won the mixed relay at the fourth stage of the Commonwealth Biathlon Cup in Raubichi on January 25. It was noted that the Belarusian team covered the distance in 1 hour, 18 minutes, 48 seconds, making three inaccurate shots at the firing lines. The second place was taken by the first Russian national team, which featured Anastasia Khalili, Natalia Shevchenko, Savely Konovalov and Kirill Bazhin.
